A Clockwork Orange
by La Trobe Student Theatre and Film (VIC)
There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening.
The molodoy banda of droogs settle for an ordinary nochy with a bit of the old in and out, some horrorshow ultra-violence and a bit of moloko plus at the old Korova Bar. But the bolshy times come to an end when Alex punchipunches and kills an old baboochka.
In a society of festering ultra-violence, the controversial Ludovico Technique is developed to reform the system and desperate to escape the stripey hole, Alex puts himself in the rookers of the grahzny doctors. What happens next blurs the line between nature and nurture, good and evil.

Demon(s)
by Breadbeard Collective, QUT (QLD)
When a group of friends arrive to Synthia's Halloween party on the thirteenth floor in an apartment complex, their host is nowhere to be found. Instead, they're met with endless bottles of Princess Pop, a creepy next-door
neighbour and possibly an alternative universe. As strange things begin to happen, the seeds of mistrust begin to spawn and the partygoers must discover who amongst them is creating the evil – quite a difficult task when they're all dressed demonically.
Inspired by but not-at-all-ripping-off films such as Devil, The Omen and
Poltergeist, prepare yourself for one hell of an M. Night!

Oh The Humanity!
(and other exclamations)
by Vena Cava Productions, QUT (QLD)
From the script by Will Eno
Directed by Travis Dowling
Directed by emerging talent, Travis Dowling, Oh The Humanity is an exploration of humanity in all its fragile, ironic and often sensationalised glory. Will Eno's inventive and witty script reflects the complexity and vulnerability of our shared human experience by portraying moments in which ordinary people grapple with their humanity.
These moments, ranging from a sports coach reflecting on his own emotions in the face of defeat, to a man and a woman recording video dating tapes in which they simply long for “someone to talk with”, are thought-provoking and insightful.

Rough Trade
by The Violent Romantics, Southbank Institute of Technology & Queensland College of Art (QLD)
Welcome to Rough Trade, the show where savagery and femineity intertwine in the glorious name of Reality Entertainment. Battles will be fought, nails will be broken and lives will be transformed. Four sadistically sexy individuals are pitted against each other in a sordid spectacle designed especially for your viewing pleasure.
Some may call it brutal. Some may call it vulgar. Some may call it mindless titillation. Just don’t be fooled by their pretty, painted faces: these kitties have claws. Underneath the make-up, the costumes, the bravado they could be regular citizens. But they are regular citizens who could mess you up.

This That Nothing
by Blancanvas Productions, QUT (QLD)
There is no hope for you here. Nor is there a future, or a place for you to grow old. Without a future, there is no line. No line to cross. Just go ballistic.
Five young things are in a room with nothing to pass the time but nine chairs, two tables and a length of rope. In this world, apathy is a vicious weapon and an abundance of nothing leaves room for a whole lot of something. Come play a few games with Hugo, Mia, DD, Charlotte and Luca. Get your feelings hurt, pillage your body and manipulate the emptiness that surrounds you.
There is no future. So stop caring. They have.

Titus
by Sydney University Dramatic Society (NSW)
“Do on them some violent death, they have been violent to me and mine.”
Titus Andronicus returns to Rome a victorious warlord, but soon begins to sow the seeds for his own destruction. Forced to the brink of madness and made to stare into the blackest pit of despair following the desecration of his family, Titus swears bloody revenge. And bloody it is.
The most visceral of Shakespeare’s plays, Titus is also one of the most darkly humorous. Not for the faint hearted, this contemporisation of Titus catapults the audience headfirst into a surreal and horrific world of violence and vengeance.
