Five brand new plays, written, rehearsed and performed
in the space of hours.

The University of Melbourne, Mudfest and City Pigeons Theatre present the 48 Hour Play Project @ Fast 2011. Not only have we added an extra 12 hours but this year we’ve made it a theatre blood sport. With such a vast array of theatrical talent from all over Australia at FAST, it only makes sense to pit everyone against each other.

From the Friday night until the evening hours on Sunday, teams from each state or from each show will put there theatrical bravado on display in plays written, directed, produced and performed in a 48 hour stint of caffeine and competition.

So throw your talent into the ring, your cards on the table, let your actions speak words, bite don’t bark, climb out from a rock and a hard place, cut mustard, go out on a limb, think alike with great minds, cut to the chase – 48 Hour Play Project, Australian Student Theatre begins and ends here!
